Engage Campaigns let you quickly send targeted emails to groups of leads and contacts, and then track engagement metrics from Salesforce. Sending Engage Emails is easy: simply select recipients from your leads and contacts, then craft your messages from email templates or from scratch.

Before you can send Engage Emails, your Salesforce Administrator needs to add the Send Engage Emails button to your lead and contact search and page layouts. See this article for instructions.

Sending Engage Emails to Multiple Leads or Contacts

  1. In Salesforce, navigate to your lead or contact list.
  2. Select your email recipients and click Send Engage Emails.
  3. Choose a template for the email, or click anywhere in the Email Composer to begin an email from scratch.
  4. If you’re using a template, click the Edit this email tab to make changes to the email subject and body.
  5. Click Preview to preview your email.
  6. When you’re satisfied with your email, click Send.

Once your emails are sent, a confirmation screen will display the number of emails you have remaining for the day.

Note: If there are multiple leads or contacts with the same email address on a send, the email will be sent only to the lead or contact with the most recent Last Activity field value. You will be notified when leads or contacts with duplicate emails are removed from an email send.
