Removing Prospects from Lists

Last Updated: Dec 27, 2016 | Print this Article
Lists are groups of prospects that can be used to send list emails or to build drip marketing programs. This article walks through removing prospects from static lists.

Note: Prospects cannot be manually removed from Dynamic Lists, and will remain for as long as they match the list's criteria. This article covers only Static Lists. See Similarities and Differences between Static and Dynamic Lists for more information.
  1. Navigate to Prospects > Prospect List.
  2. Mark any prospect you want to remove from a list.
  3. In the dropdown at the bottom of the table, select Remove from List.
  4. Select the list from which you would like to remove the prospects.
  5. Click Go.
Your prospects will no longer be members of the list that you designated. This video walks through removing prospects from a list. Click here to expand the video.
You also have the option to remove multiple prospects from a list by setting up an Automation RuleSegmentation Rule, or performing a CSV import of existing prospects. If the list is CRM Visible, you can remove a prospect from it from within the CRM (a verified CRM connector is required).
