Why did I get a Monthly Inactive Automations Report email?

Why did I receive this email?

If your account has an Engagement Program, Drip Program, Dynamic List or Automation Rule with no activity in the past 30 days, Pardot sends a Monthly Inactive Automations Report to the automation creator and admins.
No activity is defined as:

  • Drip and Engagement Programs: No prospects have started the program, and no prospects have moved through the program within the past 30 days.
  • Dynamic Lists: The list has not matched or unmatched any prospects within the past 30 days.
  • Automation Rules: the rule is not paused and has not matched any prospects within the past 30 days.


Do I have to do anything if I get this email?

If you have inactive automations that you're no longer using, we recommend pausing them as a best practice. Dynamic lists cannot be paused, so we recommend deleting unused lists.
You can use the View All... links at the bottom of each table in the email to view a complete list of all inactive automations.

I don't want to get this email, can I disable it?

Admins and content creators can edit their notification preferences and unmark Send monthly inactive automations report email to stop receiving this email. See Changing Notification Preferences for more help.
