Clearing Your Cookies and Cache

To clear your internet browser's cookies and cache, take the following steps for your appropriate browser:

Internet Explorer 9, 10, 11

  1. Tools (the gear icon) > Safety > Delete browsing history...
  2. To delete your cookies, mark Cookies. If you are testing Pardot forms, you will also want to unselect Preserve Favorites website data.
  3. To delete your cache, mark Temporary Internet Files.
  4. Click Delete.
  5. Click OK to exit.
Note: If your browser is still maintaining cookies, you may need to unselect Preserve Favorites website data.

 Firefox 9 and 10 for Windows

  1. Tools > Clear Recent History.
  2. Mark Cookies and/or Cache
  3. Click Clear Now.

Firefox 25.0.1 for Mac OS X

Follow the steps below or watch this quick video.
  1. Click Firefox > Preferences at the top.
  2. Go to the Privacy tab.
  3. Under History, click clear your recent history, select your timeframe, and click Details.
  4. Check Cookies and Cache and click the Clear Now button.

Google Chrome for Windows

  1. Click Customize and Control Google Chrome (Wrench icon in top right).
  2. Clear browsing data...
  3. Select Deleting cookies and/or Empty the cache.
  4. Click Clear Browsing Data.

Google Chrome 31.0.1650.57 for Mac OS X

Follow the steps below or watch this quick video.
  1. Click Chrome > Preferences at the top.
  2. A new tab will open up. Click History.
  3. Click Clear browsing data.
  4. Check Empty the cache and Delete cookies and other site and plug-in data, and then click the Clear browsing data button.

Safari 6.0.5 for Mac OS X

To clear your cookies, follow the steps below or watch this quick video.
  1. Click Safari > Preferences at the top.
  2. Got to the Privacy tab.
  3. Under Cookies and other website data, click Details.
  4. Select which cookies to remove and click Remove or click Remove All, then click Remove Now.
To empty your cache, follow the steps below or watch this quick video.
  1. Click Safari > Preferences at the top.
  2. Got to the Advanced tab.
  3. Check Show Develop menu in menu bar.
  4. Click Develop > Empty Caches.
