Natural Search Reporting

Get insight into popular search terms that drive prospects to your site with Pardot Natural Search Reports. Natural Search Report associates search terms with opportunities based on campaigns. Find your Natural Search report by navigating to Reports > Natural Search.

Natural Search Report Table

You can do the following with the Natural Search Report Table:
  • Click on any Query term in the Natural Search Report table to view a Natural Search Query Report.
  • Filter table by search term or Query Date (Today through All Time; select Custom to define a specific date range).
  • Sort table alphabetically by Query term or by terms with the most or least Unique. Searches, associated Prospects, Opportunities, Opportunity Value, or Revenue.
  • To export the data in the table to a .csv file, click the Tools button at the top-right corner of the table and select CSV Export.

Columns in the Search Report Table

The following columns are available:
  • Keyword: the search terms prospects used.
  • Unique Searches: the number of unique searches for a keyword that drove traffic.
  • Prospects: the number of existing prospects that searched for a particular keyword.
  • Opportunities: the number of existing opportunities that searched for a keyword.
  • Opportunity Value: the potential value of opportunities that searched for a keyword.
  • Revenue: the revenue from won deals for opportunities that search for a keyword.

Natural Search Query Report

You can do the following with the Natural Search Query Report:
  • Click on any Query term in the Natural Search Report table to view queries by Vendor (Ask.com, Baidu, Bing, MSN, Twitter, Wikipedia, or Yahoo!).
  • Filter table by Query Date (Today through All Time; select Custom to define a specific date range).
  • Sort table alphabetically by Vendor, or by vendors with the most or least Unique Searches, associated Prospects, Opportunities, Opportunity Value, or Revenue.
  • To export the data in the table to a .csv file, click the Tools button at the top-right corner of the table and select .csv Export.

Notes

  • If you would like for your Closed/Won Opportunities to be included in the Natural Search Revenue calculations, you will need to be certain your Closed/Won Opportunities are updated to have a Probability percentage of 100.
  • Google's recent push to restrict search data prevents Google keywords from appearing in the Natural Search Report.
