Setting up Engage for the Salesforce App

This article will walk you through setting up Engage for the Salesforce mobile app.

These instructions are for a Salesforce Administrator.

Adding Engage to Mobile Navigation

Add Engage to the mobile navigation menu.

  1. In Salesforce, navigate to Setup > Administer > Mobile Administration > Salesforce1 Navigation.
  2. In the Available box, click Engage and then click Add.
  3. Click Save.

Adding Marketing Action Cards to Page Layouts

Marketing Action cards show recent prospect activities in Engage. For your users to see Marketing Action cards, you'll need to add them to your Engage user's Page Layouts.
  1. In Salesforce, navigate to Setup > Customize > Leads > Page Layouts.
  2. Click Edit next to the Page Layout you want to modify.
  3. Click Visualforce Pages.
  4. Click Marketing Action Summary Lead page and drag it into the Mobile Cards section of the layout.
  5. Click Save.
Repeat steps 1-5 for the Lead Layout that admins use.

Repeat steps 1-5 for the Contact Page Layouts that your Engage users will be using. Adding Marketing Action Cards

Adding Marketing Action Summary Person Account Card to Person Account Page Layouts

  1. Navigate to the Person Account Page Layout assigned to your Salesforce Engage users and click edit.
  2. Click Visualforce Pages.
  3. Drag the Marketing Action Summary Person Account page to the Mobile Cards section of the page layout.
  4. Click Save.
