This article covers the most frequently-asked questions about user passwords.

What are the length and character requirements?

Pardot passwords need to be at least 8 characters long with a minimum of:

  • 1 uppercase letter
  • 1 lowercase letter
  • 1 number
  • 1 special character

Can I reuse old passwords?

Sorry, you can't reuse old passwords.

Do passwords expire?

Pardot administrators can set passwords to expire every 90 days. To do this, mark Expire the user's password after 90 days during user import, or on individual user records.

How many login attempts do I get before I'm locked out of my account?

After five failed login attempts, your account will be locked. See this article for help unlocking your account.

I can't log in, how can I reset my password?
